Jim is a well traveled musician, storyteller, and performer extraordinaire. He is also an educator, performing in schools, resorts, and festivals around the world. Jim is fascinated by the diversity and the wisdom of the native cultures, especially in music and stories. He inspires a renewed appreciation of nature and culture, through the performing arts, workshops, and craft making projects. He is on staff at Jim Donovan’s Rhythm Renewal, and currently is an Artist in Residence in Albemarle County. He is also an instrument maker and recording artist, whose music has been used for film, yoga classes and several dance projects.
